Tea with the Royals

Posted in There's {a} Way

Happy Wednesday lovelies! Hope you are having a fabulous week! One of my favourite daydreams (that I probably spend a little too much time thinking about) is what would I wear if invited to tea with the Queen?  Something classic and chic, but with a modern twist, is what I usually settle on.  Hence a classic full skirt (twist: it is leather!) paired with a dainty angora soft top (in a fun dot print) and classic pumps (in electric blue).  Adding these small touches and mixing of textures is a great way to elevate an outfit and inject your personal style.  When contained within a classic silhouette it also does not seem too over the top.  So when that invite finally does find its way to me do not worry, I will take pictures. Cheers!

Loungelover

Posted in Restaurants & Bars

Loungelover is a spectacular place to grab a drink in London! Their quirky and eclectic decor lends a disarming charm that had me wide eyed and swooning before I even had the first sip of my drink. The interior is divided into different uniquely decorated sections so it is perfect if you are looking for a quiet corner, or with a group of friends in need of a large table. Their vast cocktail menu will keep you busy whether stopping in for a quick drink or in it for the long haul with a night out on the town. Cheers!

channeling the 80′s

Posted in There's {a} Way

Hello lovelies! Contrasting sleeves have slowly been resurfacing in fashion for some time now. I am hesitant to commit to something (and add pieces to my wardrobe) that is so trend based and could merely be a passing seasonal phase. Easy solution…. create your own! By pairing a waistcoat over a sequin jacket it creates the contrasting look I am going for. Mixing it up with a striped top and white trousers, for a glam throwback to the eighties, I am all set for my happy hour rendezvous. Have a great weekend!! Cheers!

My happy place

Posted in There's {a} Way

Hello! I was so inspired by this penguin printed skirt, and what better place to wear it than with my perfect little friends at the London Zoo! They are just simply the best and always bring a smile to my face. If you are not able to visit in person, have no fear, because you can view these little cuties via the live web cam the zoo has set up! (As if life could get any sweeter.)  If you happen to suffer a withdrawal at night time when the little guys are asleep this little laughing penguin video may just do the trick. Cheers!

Hello lovelies!! Welcome to the new website!!  I am so thrilled to finally be able to share this with you.  It has been under construction for a few months, and it could not have been done without the absolutely wonderful team at Fuff Design.  I am so pleased and  I am so thankful for having this platform, but even more thankful to those of you who follow and support me along the way. So enjoy! Cheers!
