Wish you were here!  A great sarong/wrap/scarf is one of my beach essentials.  They are classic, timeless, versatile and one size fits all!  Nothing looks chicer at the beach and it sure does beat the old t-shirt and shorts combo.  I am so in love with this look that I am already planning to wear this one as a dress and drape myself in jewels and sparkly things. I went a little cray cray with colour in Nice with the hopes of not just visually harassing you but to give you an example of how to transition pieces from your summer wardrobe into Fall.  You may remember the top I am wearing is actually a dress I previously wore to a Summer BBQ here.  As the weather starts to turn cooler, and you swap out pieces in your closet, hold onto a few of your favourite summer pieces to incorporate year round. Keep them accessible and try pairing a summer dress with a loose fitting boyfriend style denim, palazzo style trousers, a full skirt, basically anything that will hang somewhat loose and prevent visible bunching of the extra dress material.  Accessorize the outfit for Fall weather with some lace up booties and a cargo jacket and you are all set to go! Allo!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I made a quick trip down to Nice, France for the final bank holiday weekend of the summer.  It was perfect weather and such a nice way to say goodbye to the sunny summer days (especially as it rained all weekend in London).  A great piece to add to your beach wardrobe is a white coverup (even a men’s white button down would be fabulous).  It is a great neutral canvas to showcase pops of colour and is also chic enough to take you from the beach to a restaurant for a leisurely lunch.
