Hello! We just spent a wonderful weekend in Wales for a dear friend’s wedding. For those devoted followers you may recognize this dress as I have featured it previously here. I am all for re-wearing a fabulous dress to a wedding as long as there is no crossover in guests. Also getting to style it differently is always a fun task. Check below to see some top picks for maxi dresses for the wedding season, and if you are in the UK, be sure to check news stands now for my small feature of this dress in Essentials Magazine. Cheers!
Hello! I just returned from a trip back to Virginia for a dear childhood friend’s wedding. This is my Greaty Gatsby inspired outfit that I wore for the special occasion. You may remember this dress as the one I previously wore for my birthday last summer (now styled without the sequin portion). Layering on the jewels is always an easy way to glam up your ensemble and I didn’t hold back! Cheers!
dress: Reiss (previously worn here), belt: Free People, shades: Asos, shoes: J.Crew, purse: Santi, jewels: J.Crew, Banana Republic, vintage, Issy Soloman, lips: Maybelline “vintage pink”
After a week of rain we finally had some amazing weather this weekend! Sometimes I find myself returning to the basics of my dress code school days, a polo shirt and trousers. However there is something about wearing the combination as an adult and allowing yourself to break the rules that were so strictly enforced as a young’un. Shirt untucked, check (and borrowed from the hubs to boot)! Just casual and comfortable for a day of lounging on the grass under the June….I can’t believe it…. sun. Cheers!
