Hello lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Here in London town Santa was very good to us blessing us with good food, and even better company with loved ones…. but on to outfits! This week is all about SHOWSTOPPERS!! (insert jazz hands). Outfits that will be perfect for your glamourous New Years Eve soiree and stepping into the New Year in style!
For the first outfit, I was inspired by a window display I saw in the Selfridges department store. (An absolutely magical store worth a visit when in London). They had created an amazing white tiered skirt using four pleated skirts from American Apparel, and I was in love at first sight. So I decided to make one. My inspiration:With my creation I paired the skirt with a metallic wrap top that I draped and pinned into a scoop neck. When wearing a long and loose ensemble it is best to define your waist so as not to look like you are being overtaken by material. Accentuating your waist with a belt gives you the opportunity to personalise your look by selecting a belt suited to your taste. (I am imagining a hot pink belt as well for this look!) A pair of great vintage earrings and metallic heels top off the outfit, and of course a ruby red lip for a pop of color. You are sure to be the belle of the ball in this winter stunner. Cheers!
